Collection: Jocelyn Elizabeth
Jocelyn Elizabeth is a versatile mixed media artist, writer, and mother based just north of Boston, MA.
Driven by a deep passion for creativity and a longing for freedom, she channels her rich life experiences into expressive abstract paintings that capture the essence of emotion and movement. After spending years in the corporate world, navigating the complexities of Human Resources for Fortune 100 companies, a profound personal shift—ignited by her uncle’s brain injury and the birth of her son—compelled her to fully embrace her artistic calling.
Jocelyn’s work is a pursuit of the creative freedom she seeks, blending original photography and writing into her dynamic abstract compositions. Influenced by the people who have shaped her journey and the coastal landscapes of New England, her art also carries traces of her time living in California and France.
Her vibrant artwork has been exhibited throughout New England at venues including the University of Rhode Island – Providence, the Peabody Institute Library, and the Boston Office of Arts and Culture’s Fay Chandler Emerging Artists Exhibit. She has contributed to public art initiatives such as a commissioned project for Wellesley, Cow Parade New England, and the “We Share One Sky” Murals Project with the Newburyport Art Association. Additionally, Jocelyn had the privilege of serving as an Artist-in-Residence at Chateau d’Orquevaux, France, an experience that further enriched her artistic journey.
