Spring flowers, ice cream, 80s music, and her dad’s ties, are just a few of the fresh and bright inspirations for Kelle Boyd, the artist behind Ann Kelle Designs. Her simple, sweet and slightly sassy style started in her childhood when she carted around her sketches of her own children’s line of clothing and wedding dresses in her backpack.

As an adult, Kelle Boyd traded in her colored pencils for a career in public policy.  While working for the Mayor of Nashville, she revisited her childhood dream and purchased some art supplies to relieve some of the day-to-day stress. Two years later, in 2005, Kelle took a leap of faith and launched her studio, Anne Kelle Designs.  She now lives and works in Tennessee creating what she loves.
